The Centennial Spike Knife 

Alaska Railroad 1923 - 2023 

   On July 15, 1923, President Warren G. Harding drove in the “golden spike” signaling the completion of the railroad in Nenana, Alaska. In 2023, the Alaska Railroad is celebrating its centennial year of operation. We hope you enjoy this little memento of Alaska history: a collectible knife formed from a forge twisted railroad spike.
