"... stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools ..."

- Rudyard Kipling

Knives with Former Lives was inspired by a simple Alaskan ethic: waste nothing! We use everything. We take old tool files, circular saw blades, chainsaw bars, railroad spikes, crosscut saws, leaf springs and so much more. Some say trash. We say treasure!

Turns out, there's some great steel that can be rescued from landfills and repurposed. And with a little imagination and a bit of perspiration we form a new knife from its former worn out life.
